Tours are offered before the main convention begins. Plan to arrive early to explore the historic San Antonio metro and hill country surrounding this fascinating city. These three tours include transportation from and to Braunig Lake Resort. Select your tours as part of your convention registration.

Wine Tour

Sit back and enjoy the scenic ride to the German town of Fredericksburg, Texas aboard our comfortable, luxurious mini-bus. Take a stroll down Main Street and shop and browse in the quaint shops and antique stores. Lunch is on your own at one
of the main street fine restaurants.
Following your visit in Fredericksburg
we will take the short drive and visit
three Hill Country Wineries where
you will have the opportunity to sample
some of the best wine in Texas. The
tour includes winery tour (when
available), complimentary bottled
water, and free basic wine tasting.

City Tour with Riverboat Cruise

Ride on our bus to learn about the city of San Antonio. We will vist The Alamo, the cradle of Texas Liberty, established in 1718 as mission San Antonio De Valero, the first of five missions built along the San Antonio River. Walk through these hallowed grounds and the where the heros Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and 187 valient men sacrificed their lives for Texas Independence.
Travel to the Japanese Gardens,
and Mission San Juan
Capistrano after your riverboat
ride.

Missions Tour

Start with The Alamo, San
Antonio's first Spanish mission
founded in 1718 as a Mission
San Antonio de Valero, famous
for the 1836 Battle for Texas
Independence. Visit Mission
Concepcion and experience the
strength of the Friars who Christianized the Indians. View the original frescos still visible within the rooms of the mission. This is the oldest unrestored stone church in our nation today. After visiting Mission San Jose, we will travel to El Mercado and enjoy ample shopping for colorful Mexican imports from South of the Border. Visit the many Mexican food restaurants and shop for bargains in one of the 35 shops.
